DR. JOHN E. WILLARDSEN, DDS
Dr. John Willardsen specializes in all phases of implant surgery and implant prosthodontics, including guided bone regeneration, subantral augmentation, dental implant surgery, alveolar ridge preservation, dental implant restorations for edentulous and partially edentulous patients. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Associate Faculty and Loma Linda University Center for Implant Dentistry and prosthodontics.Dr. Willardsen attended Brigham Young University from 1990-1993, prior to BYU he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Salta, Argentina from 1988-1990, where he served the people of that country and became fluent in Spanish. After his mission he finished his undergraduate education at BYU and was accepted into dental school at many universities around the country. Ultimately he decided to go to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry from 1993-1997. Upon completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, he entered in to a residency program at Loma Linda University Center for Implant Dentistry, from 1997-2001. At the time Loma Linda University and Harvard University were the only schools in the country with full time residency programs specific to implant surgery and implant prosthodontics. Dr. Willardsen excelled during his residency and training. Upon completion of his residency he stayed on as part-time faculty while maintaining his private practice.
